Does this snippet from MXdiags/20180719-192131.txt give any clue as to what is going wrong please? 2018-07-19 19:21:40.082 http://wow.metoffice.gov.uk/automaticreading?siteid=harrym1byt&siteAuthenticationKey=************&dateutc=2018-07-19+18%3A21%3A39&winddir=0&windspeedmph=0.0&...

Re: Met Office WOW not working

None of those errors are relevant = turn off the realtimegauges.txt setting to stop that error message. I think it just takes a while for you to appear on the map. Did you restart MX after applying the WOW config? I am not sure how/where to turn off realtimegauges.txt ? No I didn't restart MX yeste...

Met Office WOW not working

It was suggested that as an alternative to logging into C MX from afar, via the internet, uploading to one or more of the online weather systems like WOW would work, except I am struggling to get it to work. I have the R Pi configured with its own unique fixed IP on my LAN, via my dhcpcd.conf settin...

Re: Accessing my C MX weather via WAN/internet

Would it be a matter of just opening port 8998 and directing it to my R Pi's LAN IP?

I am not sure how I would get around my ISP not providing a static IP, maybe I could log in via my IP cams redirect facility, to find out the WAN IP, then to the R Pi's website?

Thanks, but I was hoping for something simple, like logging into my IP cameras website, via the WAN then LAN. Just being able to view the weather on my R Pi's website.

Accessing my C MX weather via WAN/internet

I have an IP cam which I can access via my LAN or via the Internet, from anywhere in the world. I am not on a static IP, but I can log into the cam suppliers website, which keeps a record of my current WAN IP and redirects me to my cam IP. I guess the way it works, is that the firmware in the cam, c...

Re: Air Pressure on display console

Thanks, yes it is showing 'abs' above the pressure. Problem is the touch screen has become a bit dodgy, so everything has to be done via Easyweather.

Air Pressure on display console

Am I correct, in that the pressure displayed on the 1081 LCD console cannot be offset or its value corrected?

That it can only be offset in that recorded by Easyweather/Cumulus..

Day File lockup in Firefox

R Pi 3B+ remotly accessed by a laptop via WiFI. If I attempt to access Data Logs> Dayfile, Firefox (61.01.1 (64 bit)) fails to fully load the C MX webpage. The title text for the columns some fully appear, some quite feint, with no data appearing and the website locks up and no other pages can be lo...

Display Console - near disaster

After a considerable battle getting CumulusMX working with my Pi 3B+ and my WH1081, deciding that now I was no longer tied by usb to having the display in cable range of my desktop computer upstairs - the only place I could reliably get a signal from the sensors, I decided now was the time to add th...

Re: Instructions: Installing CumulusMX on Raspberry Pi

All now working, after a more thorough reading of the first post in this thread..

I managed (eventually) to download a copy of mono v3.1 directly onto the Pi, rename it, then install it.

Re: Instructions: Installing CumulusMX on Raspberry Pi

I would seem to be going round in ever decreasing circles on the mono problem.... I have R Pi with the very latest upto date Raspian installed and I installed the latest mono which is NOT working with my FO usb. I know I need to uninstall my copy of mono and install a v 3.x, but I have been struggli...

Re: WMR200 station not found!

I am very new to the Pi and to Linux, but so far I have managed to get my Pi working, installed CMX on it, got that working, plus can access the Pi from my laptop using VMC and can get CMX working, can browse its web page. I am just stuck at the moment, with the Pi not seeming to connect to the stat...

Re: WMR200 station not found!

Could someone please give me a few clues how to download mono, to work with a FO USB station? I am struggling to make sense of the download process on the R Pi, in particular, this bit... "Then update the source list with the version you wish to install by running the following command (replace...

Re: FO on the LAN?

Right, so what I think I understand and whilst I wait for my Pi to turn up here... The Pi can be left permanently to the FO console, from which it forms a web page on the Pi which can be accessed via the LAN (and maybe from the WAN?). Am I correct in guessing that the Pi also stores the historical d...
