Re: FTP failure.

Thank you for your interesting suggestions I have dug out my old XP laptop, installed cumulus, and lo and behold everything runs normally. Glad to hear, I have helped. If you work out what about Windows 10 pro is causing problem, please share it. I found the event log in my PC was reporting errors ...

Re: New Record? Post here.

A few mm of rain yesterday (20th July) Yesterday's tiny bit of light rain here stopped my consecutive dry days from moving from 49 to 50, although no effect on dying garden. A record in the single decade since my weather station started. got a new record of consecutive dry days; 15. CMX doesn't ack...

Re: wmr 200 problem with datalogger

I know nothing about Oregon stations, but my Windows 10 PC has apparently stopped being able to read from my Fine Offset much (but not all) of the time (the problem is present whether Cumulus is left running or stopped/restarted). Luckily, I have my late mum's Vista machine and have found that can r...

Re: FTP failure.

I'm using Cumulus version 1.9.4 build 1099, and Windows 10 pro version That was my normal set-up for some time. My windows 10 pro pc has however been misbehaving (problems with all kinds of inputs, problems with outputs, and locking up software that should continue to run), and for the moment I hav...

but still it not updated the last rain full I doubt if anyone can add much advice beyond what Steve has said in past and is basically summarised in FAQ http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#My_station_invented_some_rain_that_didn.27t_really_occur.2C_and_I_want_to_set_it_to_zero_.28or_some_other_figure.2...

Re: CMX "Changes you made may not be saved." Pop-up

Seems possible, as widely used as I suspect jQuery is, there may be updated versions of this/these available. That's as far as I've gotten... Bob Ref: https://code.jquery.com/jquery/ The Wiki http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Simple_Website_setup#Cumulus_MX mentions how to get and install latest version...

Re: Top 10 Records Page

Meanwhile can you send me a link to that source Just to record that Mark and I resolved that by PM, where we also discussed site-specific and generic issues, as mentioned in his last post. Edit - unrelated to that, but perhaps relevant to this thread, when David Jamieson was writing articles for th...

Re: Windows 10 upgrade

I haven't had a single issue on Windows 10, with Cumulus or any other software. I echo that for all my software including Cumulus 1, although I had an operating system hiccup re its default language. So no USB change in this update for me. https://www.manula.com/manuals/pws/davis-kb/1/en/topic/wind...

Re: Top 10 Records Page

OK, found a copy of version 1.2! The group by changes consist of where there is a function applied to the date Aha, that is the insight I needed - Group By needs to be applied to the query output, not the input column! I know there is some reference to the GROUP BY problem earlier in the thread, bu...

Re: Top 10 Records Page

To stop hi-jacking the other thread, I thought I 'd start a new one for the Top 10 page. You can see my version here . The source code is here . This was inspired by Dans (captzero - brisbaneliveweather) pioneering work , though I developed my code independently. Mark, I've obviously looked at your...

Re: Top 10 Records Page

Maybe you have created a file but the script does not exist in it. Maybe the encoding of the page does not match what is declared as the encoding. The file you zipped uses UTF-8 encoding, but the file on your web server uses windows-1252 encoding. So there is a problem with the file on the web serv...

Re: Top 10 Records Page

My guess is that there is still an error, without seeing your source I cannot tell you what. Maybe you have created a file but the script does not exist in it. Has your script got "include ..." or "require ..." of another script that you do not have? Such an include/require would...

is now dead. Oh, I had not picked that up. improving my web-site has been on the to-do list Yes, my to do list is enormous.
