Re: Uncaught Reference cumulusutils.js

Hi Phil,

T.b.h. I don't see the bug, I see a correctly displayed image.
So, afaiac : not an issue.

But how can you use a Reolink 411W as an HP10 camera for the Ecowitt site?
Are we talking about the same thing?

Agree... Dotnet seems the culprit.
But since I seem to be the first and only it does not seem to be a big deal.

Re: CMX just stopped

In addition the journald just told me - after the dotnet start - for CUtils, to completion - at 03h21 i get: mei 30 03:21:17 rpiCMX3 dotnet[10813]: Fatal error. System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. Fro...

CMX just stopped

Without any message CMX was out this morning (see logfiles, no debugging was switched on). The only exception I can think of was the fact that the Linux machine had been running for 6 weeks and three days straight which had been a first. No message even no indication of what had happened so this is ...

Re: Value in realtime.txt

So @courtil, could you explain what you did while restarting CMX because it seems you made an error there.
It has nothing to do with realtime.txt, it has to do with the startdate of your series and because you restarted it started with rain = 0.

Yes, but there is a history so that ahouldn't be.

Nevertheless the charts show 366 mm on a single day on 27 may and 29 may (looking on my telephone) so something is wrong.

Re: Value in realtime.txt

But the result in Coutil's realtime.txt is:
29/05/24 14:47:40 15.3 94 14.4 1.6 0.0 22 0.0 2.2 1009.9 NNE 1 km/h C hPa mm 29.0 0.0 53.6 53.6 ...
So @courtil must have changed something else: it can't be CMX (it is OK with my site)

Re: dotnet 8.0.5

Some of us like to be on the "bleeding edge" of technology!! :D :D :D :D Seriously: if the bleeding edge of technology becomes the subject of threads on this forum, CumulusMX and the weather will 'snow under' and the transitIon to a pure tech forum is close. The version of dotnet is not s...

Re: dotnet 8.0.5

I am not 100% sure, but I don't think it is not a requirement to update to all releases of Dotnet. Unless CMX requires it (mentioned by Mark in release notes). Some of us like to be on the "bleeding edge" of technology!! :D :D :D :D Seriously: if the bleeding edge of technology becomes th...

Re: I need help after updating CMX and Cutils

Good morning Hans, I would have liked to update, but other derived problems have appeared, as you know I use WxSim, because when updating automatically it has stopped working because it cannot read the data, Cumulusutils was also giving me some problems, since I do not have I had enough knowledge o...

Re: I need help after updating CMX and Cutils

Hi Juan,

I see that you went back to version CMX 3 / CUtils 6

Does that mean you do not wish to upgrade?

It is the last logfile in the MXdiags directory. There is no debug.log

NOTE: the filename of the MXdiags logfile contains date and time of the start of the logging and when the file gets too large it is split and a next file is created continuing the logging.
