Re: Photos of the insides of Fine Offset sensors.

If it only has two terminals, it is probably a "Capacitor" - Analogue type humidity sensor. The value of the capacitance change as the humidity change. I see a "Thermistor" next to it, i presume that is the local temperature reading, also Analogue. The 4 wire type is a "Digi...

Re: HP1000 / WH24 RF Protocol

Hi AllyCat See attached spreadsheet for WH24 RF Protocol. I have confirmed the values with Fine Offset. I have also done some checks on my side and it is now in the range that i expect the values to be if i compare them with other sources in my area. The 18th byte that is was seeing, still not sure ...

HP1000 / WH24 RF Protocol

Hi All Some time last year i posted some pictures of the inside of a "HP1000" they are also known as WH24 for the outdoor unit or WH2303 as the Weather station set. Struggled to get info on the NET, until i found a post by "Ohan Smit" on RTL-SDR.com, where he spend a lot of time ...

Re: Photos of the insides of Fine Offset sensors.

Hi AllyCat

Yes, i shall do a few tests with - Wind Speed, Direction, rain, light, UV, temp and humidity.
I shall record each one a few times and then see what changes.

Once i have done this, i shall post the data.
I was hoping that someone has done this model of Weather Station.

Re: Photos of the insides of Fine Offset sensors.

Hi AllyCat It is at 433.92MHz, sorry i should have mentioned that i have a RFM69 connected to my ESP-12 via SPI. I tried the SI44X83, but further study into the data sheet indicated that it would not work. RFM69 data sheet show that it can accommodate an pre-amble of 0xAA, so as i detected 4x 0xAA, ...
