I know of at least one Cumulus user who would be very interested in one of those!

I'm running Virtual Serial Ports Emulator software to emulate virtual port which can be used then with multiple weather software... ;)

These stations are USB :)

Re: Record glitch

Bob,

You greatly underestimate the power of your brain compared to a puny PC!

Is it just the temperature that's showing the problem? It could be the sensor. Is the sun coming out briefly and affecting the reading?

Re: Record glitch

Is there an easy way of finding the old records? For the minimum temperature, you can scan dayfile.txt for the minimum value (see help file for format). The wind chill doesn't get logged anywhere at the moment, so there's not much you can about that one, I'm afraid. Can you put something in Cumulus...

Re: Record glitch

Cumulus does some checking for silly values, but glitches of a few degrees will get past. The all-time record data for wind chill and min temp are created as they happen, not by scanning the data files. So, the only way to get Cumulus to display the old ones would be to use 'Edit | All time records'...

Re: External Tag files

1) It appears that the process files are only uploaded when the full webpage is uploaded. Ideally, it would be as often as the realtime.txt file is. If there were a check mark on the settings page to indicate that should take place, that would be a nice option. Yes, agreed. 2) Obviously, there are ...

Re: Nice clean format

I'm guessing that when you select a date and hit update, it is supposed to show a log for that day?? Yes, that's it, exactly. I think the problem is that I use the term 'log' for too many things in Cumulus. This log is an 'almanac' for you to type in your own notes about a particular day, together ...

Re: Nice clean format

The following is an example... it skips the upload part (log file is already there), but that step could be put back in... Logfile Converter **Updated** Accepts an uploaded file now... The simple script converts the old format to the new format, making what ever changes necessary for the old log da...

Re: Rain Issues With Direct Feed From EasyWeather Stations

Glen, I think this may be a follow-on from the problems you were having with Cumulus crashing at startup. If you stop Cumulus and delete the today.ini and yesterday.ini files, then start Cumulus again, this will hopefully fix it. You may then still have some of this incorrect rainfall in your data f...

Re: Cumulus 2 suggestions

I had in mind that at the very least I would change to a client and server model, effectively 1 and 3 in your list.

Re: Nice clean format

The view log doesn't seem to do anything. Might be missing something there. It does nothing at all? That's odd - I can't reproduce that. BTW... The log format really should use the ISO Date Format both for internal data and logfile name format. That would make storing, sorting of both the data and ...

Yes, I had a quick look at those, I think someone else mentioned them. I don't think it would be a problem.

A possibility eventually, I guess.

I looked up JRC Editor, but isn't it just for Java apps?

Re: Cumulus 2 suggestions

I guess the Graphs auto size for the Y axis but setting the X axis could be handy. If you can already set it then I haven't noticed it :-) The 'normal' graphs you can just choose either the last 12 hours or the last 24 hours. But with 'Select-a-graph' you can choose any range you want for the X axi...

Re: Cumulus 2 suggestions

Some of the features in Easyweather could be quite handy in Cumulus 2. Such as the format for viewing data, even though it stretches across 2 screens, and the ability to export that data in different formats. This would all be included as part of saving the data in a database. When displaying graph...
