Re: New Record? Post here.

Broke 2 records this past week, records since Oct, 2010 didn't get the wind speed you did, but still pretty windy night. Six miles to my east we have the Carrier Dome, a domed sports arena, which recorded a wind gust of 105 mph ! WOW Check the link below as a local weatherman went there to do a repo...

Re: WS-2080 MADIS issues

My station, http://weather.gladstonefamily.net/site/D6725 Now a OT question.. :) How far is your anemometer from the temp sensor? (saw your pics) and what did you run for cable to ...

Re: noaa report heat deg day an cool deg day same day?

You got it!!! Thank you! There is one teeny problem..... if there are any 2010 reports in the dir, they do display, mine started last Oct. Shows them fine, but clicking on 2011, it says there are NO reports found. All the changes you made are beyond my capabilities, I can't figure it out.. I tried n...

Re: noaa report heat deg day an cool deg day same day?

Is there something about the reports that Weatherlink produces that Cumulus doesn't?
I grabed Ken's script and edited it for my needs, told it to use WL as the report style, have the
reports in the right dir, yet the script says No NOAA style reports found.

Re: Snow depth and Diary entries

I made a table like this and just do entries as needed: <tr><tbody bgcolor="#0000CC"> <td><b>Snow so far Today </b> </td> <td><b>0.0" </b></td> <td><b>Snow Yesterday</b></td> <td><b>0.0"</b></td> </tr> <tr> <td><b>Monthly snow this year</b> </td> <td> <b>1.0"</b></td> <td><...

Re: Frozen Anemometer

Mine was the same, yesterday in the AM for a short time, then after sunset we had a little more freezing drizzle, froze up last night...thawed... then froze again, till I gave it a nudge with a pole this morning. As far as temp's go, we haven't been above freezing since Jan 5, until yesterday for a ...

Re: Weird rain errors (again) - build 971

Hi Steve, Not sure when I changed that to March for the rain season, but that would explain it now. I believe the 5.89 inches of rain was for Dec, 2010. But what happened to the 30+ inches that were in Cumulus config, from when I 1st went on-line in Oct ? Did that get wiped on the rollover to the ne...

Re: Weird rain errors (again) - build 971

I have something similar, Cumulus is picking up the total rainfall from Dec, and adding it to the total for this year. Main cumulus screen shows 5.89 in of rain so far, actual is 0.9 I've looked, I've really looked.. and can't find where I need to edit the data, I also had some of the 11:09 timestam...

Re: The Big Freeze

Hunter, welcome to the forum. Looks like we have had the same snow effect, except from different lake... Our Lake Huron effect started on Sunday and finished here on Wednesday but some areas a bit north of here got more today. 100 cm here and 167 cm in Lucan, Ontario Paul Thanks Paul, We're having ...
