Webfiles Not Updating

I have the Sandaysoft template working on my website: http://www.apcat.org without issue. Among the uploaded data I have the realtime gauges working so that /home/pi/CumulusMX/web/realtimegaugesT.txt is FTP'd up to the site to the public_html folder. This setup in the extra webfiles panel. It all se...

Re: $MetroURL & $CityURL

Maybe I'm not so far into the weeds... By going to view page info I was able to find a url (under media in Firefox)to the zoomed in image: https://radblast.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/radar/WUNIDS_map?station=FTG&brand=wui&num=1&delay=15&type=N0R&frame=0&scale=0.1891304347826087...

$MetroURL & $CityURL

I am setting up the Saratoga Templates for the first time so please pardon my ignorance... Following the instructions for going to the Metro area in Wunderground>Nexrad radar I do not see that in either Firefox, Chrome or Explorer that it is possible to "View/Save the image" once selected ...

Re: Wind Rose Blank

Many thanks for spotting this. I went thru each directory to see if others were missing and found another blank file. Re-uploaded and the problems are gone. Many thanks for your help!!

Wind Rose Blank

I have just setup a weather website using the "stock" CumulusMX templates. For the most part it is working properly with one exception. The gauges page is updating information in most but not all the gauges (some have no data such as UV). However the one "mystery" is the Windrose...

Re: Gauges Display No Data

David Thanks very much for spotting this; indeed it has made things lots better. No error messages anymore. The windrose and the windspeed are not showing up, so that's still a bit of a puzzle. To answer your question about not using the dashboard to edit Cumulus.ini is a bit complex. For one thing,...

Re: Gauges Display No Data

Thank you Freddie & David for the very helpful answers. Indeed the inclusion of public_html in the path was the problem. Although I corrected the webcam= URL by removing the public_html from the path, the link on the homepage (apcat.org) did not appear to change. I went into index.htm and edited...

Gauges Display No Data

I have used the built-in webfiles within V3.0 of CumulusMX to create a website: apcat.org CumulusMX is running on a Raspberrypi 2 getting its data from a Davis VP2. For the most part the website is displaying the data correctly with the exception of the gauges. While the gauge images are shown prope...

Re: Accessing Vantage Pro2 directly from LInux (Rasberry)

Steve I have looked thru the Davis Weather Envoy manual and I do not see any instructions to programming altitude. Is there any documentation you could refer to me that gives an explanation? Setting the altitude is probably one of several settings that can be set in the Envoy so in general it would ...

Re: Accessing Vantage Pro2 directly from LInux (Rasberry)

Steve I'm coming over to this post which you suggested, from the other regarding correcting the Barometric pressure in the Envoy. I'm having trouble understanding your suggestion to correct the Envoy. Is a terminal program used to send the correction factor to the Envoy which will then use it to pro...

Re: Data Not Being Recieved by APRS/CWOP, PWS & WOW

I understand the pressure correction issue now. Does this mean that for the RPi, I would need to disable the data upload to the various sites and process the data stream coming from CumulusMX, or intercept the data before it got to Cumulus? Neither sounds especially easy. Might you consider adding t...

Re: Data Not Being Recieved by APRS/CWOP, PWS & WOW

Sorry to post so many messages.. I called Davis and they say the pressure is measured and corrected within the Console and thus the data logger receives corrected info. However although the Weather Envoy measures the pressure locally it has no value of altitude so the data logger gets the actual, un...

Re: Data Not Being Recieved by APRS/CWOP, PWS & WOW

More info... Cumulus is throwing two messages: "Connected from 127.0.0.1:33087" "Disconnected from 127.0.0.1:33087" Otherwise OK. Also the pressure on the Cumulus gauges indicate the uncorrected pressure, even though the 6660 ft altitude is in the config file. As an aside I'm alw...

Re: Data Not Being Recieved by APRS/CWOP, PWS & WOW

I hope this isn't a duplicate post. I put a message together and I'm afraid I exited before posting so here goes... Rebooting the RPi seems to have solved the problem (mostly). When I started CumulusMX after the reboot it gave the message "last update July 12 2015" (changed to US notation)...

Re: Data Not Being Recieved by APRS/CWOP, PWS & WOW

Steve I have no wxnow.txt file in the /home directory. Did a "find" and it does not appear to exist. I of course saved by Cumulus 1.X program and file and moved over to the Pi on Sunday the 12th. That's when the problem started. The July 15 data files appears to end at that time. I checked...
