Re: Trends graphs
Richard I've been reading the history of this post and I am little confused as to your setup. You're running MX? Is this running on the same computer as your webserver (you seem to be self-hosting)? In 'Web/FTP settings' do you have 'Auto update' and 'Include graph data files' ticked? Or are you doi...

Cumulus Users list on Wiki cleaned up
I've been working on the Cumulus Users page on the Wiki; It contains a list of some of the Cumulus sites around the world. Through time it has become quite dated and many links are now invalid. If a website link generated a 'not found', or the site was several years without an update, I removed it f...

Re: Tidying up cables
Ian, as Alan says, don't try and create your setup based on the image on the box! In my own experience, I found the most sensitive sensor is the raingauge as it can 'tip' (and count rain) if it is not stable and there are strong winds -- so positioning it on the pole is not a good idea. Mine is furt...

Re: Toolbox Webtags error
Hi, someone else has pointed this error out to me. I've spent some time looking at the problem and it would appear the version of Cumuluswebtags.txt on the wiki has many errors in it. It has been edited incorrectly.
I will need to fix this and upload a new, working version!

Re: Toolbox Link
Now fixed. Although I'm no longer active in the weather community (I no longer run a station) I am always happy to help if you have a problem. I do get the occasional email from people needing a Toolbox issue resolved. I do hope to make an effort to come back to the Cumulus Forums and help out with ...

Re: Toolbox Link
Oops, sorry, my fault. I will re-enable the link. I had moved some sites around and forgot Toolbox was pointing to an old setup.

Re: Hosting by David Jamieson ending - new webhost required
Hello, stranger. Hope all is well. Thornhill, eh? Know it well, we lived in Wanlockhead for a couple of years, and we used the vets there. I seem to remember some good ice cream, and perhaps also some good pies from somewhere there... Hi Steve. I'm about a mile outside Thornhill in the hills; lovel...

Re: Hosting by David Jamieson ending - new webhost required
Do I hear my name being used?! LOL Hi guys, yes I am alive. Sadly no longer in the weather circles. I moved house a few years ago but a neighbour kindly agreed to keep an eye on the station. It became temperamental and difficult for me to maintain a few hundred miles away so it had to end. As Ray ha...

Re: New <div> driving me nuts!
Float can be a bit of a black art! Try not to mix right and left. In your case I would float everything left and set widths.... #header {background:#2EB1DB; border:3px solid #000000; width:1044px; height:155px; border-radius:25px;} #left_header { width: 600px ; float:left; padding:20px; margin-top:2...

Re: Web Counter
Albert A relatively simple task for you to do, and probably one best not added to the distribution of Cumulus as everyone has there own preferences. If you want to have a visible counter (i.e. something everyone can see, then StatCounter is as good as any and has a free option -- [as Geoff mentions ...

As the wind speed increases the number of false tips of the rain gauge will inflate your rain readings

Probably because it was over the weekend. I got activated within an hour but that was on Friday during the day.uncle_bob wrote:Update: I'm now seeing data in the old analysis tools but no word from Google regarding the beta version yet.
