Re: Dayfile.txt Lost

Have you looked at dayfile.txt with a good text editor to see what’s actually in there? There may just be some kind of corruption on one line. Cumulus does take copies of dayfile.txt daily and when it starts up, in the backup hierarchy. These are not intended for data security purposes (despite the ...

Re: Ftp connection refused

One possible cause mentioned in the FAQ, I think. Caused by incorrect active/passive ftp mode. If not that, you could turn on ftp logging and look at ftp log.

Re: CumulusMX dist.3043 mono 4.6.2.7+dfsg-1 no work

If you can’t get the MX display to appear in a browser on a PC on the same network using the IP address of the raspberry pi and port 8998 (I.e. http://a.b.c.d:8998) then you have some kind of firewall issue and using a different port number won’t help and you have just been wasting your time and mine.

Re: CumulusMX dist.3043 mono 4.6.2.7+dfsg-1 no work

You are telling Cumulus to use port 8002 for its user interface when you start it, by supplying the port parameter Command line: /home/pi/Scaricati/CumulusMX/CumulusMX.exe -port 8002 I have no idea why you are doing this, it can never work because port 8002 is used for the gauges etc to read their d...

Re: CumulusMX dist.3043 mono 4.6.2.7+dfsg-1 no work

You have told it to use port 8002 for the web interface, so when it tries to open the web socket port, which is 8002, the system correctly says that port is already in use.

Re: 123-reg ripping me off for domain renewal

123-reg have been increasing their prices for U.K. domains steadily over the last 18 months or so. The first increase was because Nominet increased the wholesale price of domains by 50%, and 123-reg standardised the price of U.K. domains at 6.99 per year (plus vat). There have apparently since been ...

Re: Cumulus ! Freezing - revisited

I’m not saying that a driver update is necessarily required (or available), just that requiring task manager normally means that it is stuck in system code somewhere.

Re: ftp error

If you are doing a manual update and have automatic updates configured, then it is possible that you are trying to force an update while one is already in progress. The error message can also be a result of a timeout. For better diagnosis of ftp issues, you need to turn on ftp logging and look at ft...

Re: Cumulus ! Freezing - revisited

Yes, there’s nothing untoward in there, it was all behaving normally right up to the end of the file.
