Re: time format

If you can't see the problem, zip up the diags folder and attach it here.

Re: time format

If you use the today's rain editor, you have to make sure you leave Cumulus running until it has written the next entry to the logs, so that it saves the corrected value. You say it is out by 3mm - too high or too low? And how do you know? The diags logs will show where the figures in Cumulus are co...

Re: time format

It's entirely up to you. Personally, I wouldn't use any data at all that I hadn't recorded myself.

Re: time format

I have to say I'm baffled. Why do you want to insert fake data?

Re: time format

Cumulus MX data is forwards compatible with Cumulus 1, but not backwards compatible. If you want to port data from MX to 1.9.4 you will have some work to do. MX now uses ISO format for the dates in the ini files. You'll need to convert them all to the format shown that's understood by your system. I...

Re: Longest Dry Run curiosity

I'm pretty sure that the Cumulus default of 0.2mm corresponds to the official definition of a dry day as defined by the Met Office and/or the WMO, or at least it did at the time I wrote the code. See this page, for example: https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climatechange/science/monitoring/ukcp09/availab...

Re: Accessing my C MX weather via WAN/internet

You can host your web site on your Pi, that isn't a problem (with the right security measures), but exposing the MX user interface to the world is not a good idea.

Re: Very strange rainfall figures

Looks like your rainfall counter increased suddenly, and then perhaps returned to normal. Cumulus tries to filter out such aberrances, but it depends on exactly what happened. There's information in the FAQ and wiki about correcting rainfall, which also applies to MX, except that MX doesn't have mos...

Re: Logging of custom HTTP

The 'minutes' and 'rollover' responses are logged to the diags file if you turn on debug logging.

I don't believe that's possible, given that the 'web server' built into MX is very simple.

Re: wmr 200 problem with datalogger

Trying to recover old logger data by changing the timestamp in today.ini is generally not useful for the WMR200 because of the way it works, there is no way to ask for specific data, it just sends what it has. A situation where this approach might be useful would be where the logger does have the da...

WOW (and WU) create the IDs when you register your station. I can't remember how you find them if you don't know them (and the systems have probably changed considerably since I last used them).
