Hi
Not a cumulus question, is it safe to unplug the rain gauge to test the reed switch with the ISS still powered up?

During the storms yesterday my rain readings went wild I am assuming this was due to the wind gusting to 94mph and shaking the iss so the tipping mech was registering has anyone else had this happen. Rainfall rate 0.0 mm/hr Rainfall Today 197.2 mm Rainfall Last Hour 0.0 mm Rainfall This Month 3784.4...

Re: Rain Rate

Steve
Just after I posed I saw rain rate on the site so that's working when I get the opportunity I will climb up taking a multimeter and re-check the reed switch but this time disconnecting the plug first.
Thanks for the info.

Re: Cumulus screen freeze

Hi Steve
yes you were correct with the datalogger time set to 30 minutes and the station settings to 10 minutes ( i had read somewhere that the default time for the logger update in weatherlink was 10 minutes) and did not check that will teach me never assume anything.
