Re: Reading History
Deleting the data log won't cause it to re-read that data, it keeps track of where it has read up to in the today.ini file. How often is your station logging? It may be that nothing has been logged in those 20 minutes. If you want to investigate further, stop Cumulus and edit Cumulus.ini to put Logg...

Re: upload issues
OK. I am going to put some better ftp logging in the next release to make things like this easier to spot.

Re: Cumulus My evaluation
What do you mean exactly by 'tweak'? Edit them out, or set thresholds for invalid readings, or...? What type of weather station do you have?

Re: Display Issue
I've not seen that before, and I run Cumulus on a smallish display. It does have a slightly unusual method of resizing the window (which I still haven't decided whether I like or not), so maybe this is causing problems. What resolutions are you trying? Could you send me some screenshots?

Re: Problem with popup box on mouseover of baro and wind
Yes, known problem, which I will add to the FAQ. See elsewhere in the forum. Basically, it's not my code, and I don't understand it well enough to work out what the problem is. Any Javascript experts reading are encouraged to have a look at it and find a solution

Re: upload issues
Have you tried active FTP mode? Although that normally doesn't cause problems with connecting, to be honest.

Re: Wind speed gauge
The attached version of the swf file should re-scale when the wind speed gets above 50 (mph or whatever). Just unzip it and ftp it to your web site.

Re: Cumulus 2 suggestions
The gauge itself couldn't do it, as it's not my code and I don't really understand enough about it to modify it. But it would be easy enough to edit gaugesT.htm to put a box underneath it and use the web tags to insert the correct values, like on the index page, e.g: <#temp> <#tempunit> Steve

Re: Wind speed gauge
Neil, if I remember correctly (but I'll check) I think the web gauge isn't Orkney-friendly, so doesn't rescale like the one in the Cumulus window. I'll try to fix this at some point.

Re: AWEKAS data transmission
I think I started to add AWEKAS support some time ago and had some queries which I was having difficulty getting answers to.

Re: Import & Export
Since I already have the code for interpreting the EW data file, it wouldn't be hard to do an import facility. But in the meantime, for that amount of data I guess it wouldn't be too much work for you to do it manually.

Re: Graph
Yes, the pre-restart stuff is plotted at the data logging interval(s) (either your station interval or your Cumulus interval, depending on how the data was obtained), and the post-restart at a fixed 1-minute interval. I should have thought to make the plotting interval configurable when I did the sa...

I tried to find one and failed. I was also in communication with Gerry Creager, who was going to help me, but some hurricanes came along and he had work to do!

Re: External Tag files
I hope to get some breathing space soon to have a proper look at all this and having a play with it.
I can also then start adding the extra tags that are needed.
