Fantastic storm!
Here's a couple of pictures from my skycam tonight - major storm and stunning lightning show! The firts picture looks like broad daylight and is actually a complete white-out with a huge lightning flash

Re: WH1081 no signal
That suggests to me the console is not in communication with the sensors outside. I don't have a WH1081 but whenever I've seen the same --- on my WS2350 it's because I've disconnected the lead from the outdoor unit to the console

Re: A new look
That's very neat Mark, nicely done.
I got a 404 error on the Historic tab but other than that all looks good.

A glorious spring day!
What a fantastic day today, literally not a cloud in the sky from dawn until dusk - near-perfect insolation all day (and actually slightly better than predicted!). Oh, if only it would stay like this (but this is Britain, so we know it won't )

Re: Can solar panels be used as a sunshine recorder?
Yes, indeed. Taking today as an example, we've been overcast all day with the exception of some very short spells of sunshine around midday. The PV array has, despite the absence of real sunshine, generated 4.295kWh.

Re: Can solar panels be used as a sunshine recorder?

I suppose it [sunshine hours]could be derived from the array output but I find the PV system generates even when there is indistinct sunlight! I haven't tried to fathom-out how pvoutput uses the API feed from my Wunderground data to d...

Re: Howto add an RRS to a website
Michael, I did this just a few days ago - anyone looking for a straight javascript capability to read RSS feeds, you probably won't do better than to use the Zazar zRSSfeed here . I've used this to call a pop-up displaying the UK North West weather warnings from Meteoalarm. This is my popup page htt...

Hi Ray,
I'd only just noticed that the fronts had disappeared from the detail images (they still appear on the thumbnails on the website). I will email them about this tomorrow

Re: www.meteorologica.info updates stopped?
It looks as if they're working again: here is the response from Meteorologica this morning - There appears to be a problem with the DNS server at the hosting farm where this domain lives. We are attempting to get them to sort it out. Thanks for letting us know about the problem. Will keep an eye on ...
