Hello. I use an Apexis pan tilt zoom cam, with script from foscam and update every 15 sec. The script is secure and none can see my ddns and my port. Rod its so simple.
Connect it to your console and check the anemometre. Mark the point that you'll see in your console showing the North. One compass will help you for that. Then fix in the right plase the sensors.

With my 1080 i didn't have any problem at all. Yesterday i sent email to the owner of weather station http://users.otenet.gr/~oqe3qh/ and he told me that he hasn't also problem.
I lets you know if i'll change it.
As i have read in this forum, the same model with solar panel has a lot of problems.

With 1080 i don't had any problem with Cumulus at all. After i learn how it works and with your help, everything is good. I hope and 8681 MKII hasn't any problem.

Its not so Ideal to show your ip. Even you use cheddarweathercam.no-ip.org, everyone can ping this and find your ip. For this reason i suggest to you to use the security script for foscam or any other script with PHP.

This http://cheddarweathercam.no-ip.org:80 and of course this http://cheddarweathercam.no-ip.org is working. But you have also to port forward yous static ip of your cam to this port. It will better if you port forward it to another port. Check again the script. It must be like this: <img src="...
