Re: Viewing Cumulus on an alternative system
ok, sorry, I had forgotten that you could click on the light (as opposed to the text "Error")... It says 30/01/2013 15:06:06 : Data input appears to have stopped - check your station and connections lol, it must have been a one off, perhaps associated with the linking from the other system...

Re: Viewing Cumulus on an alternative system
Well, it is interesting. 10 secs to screen telling me someone is already logged on and will have to be disconnected, another 40 secs before I get the blank fullscreen display and then a further four minutes, at least, before the desktop image is displayed (well, charms first). ok, perhaps I can live...

Re: Weather Underground not showing current conditions
I'm currently experiencing the same thing using the standard link from wunderground. The data is showing fine but the webcam sticker is showing NaN.

Re: Viewing Cumulus on an alternative system
Err.. she does, that was the whole point. She gets a warning message when attempting to, saying that my session will be disconnected. I guess I just want confirmation that is as innocuous as "lock" and won't cause a breakdown of USB or Cumulus. Or are you suggesting that I can't remote con...

Re: Viewing Cumulus on an alternative system
Wow, two pages already, thanks for that. OK, so I used Remote Desktop Connection and, it worked great, just what I wanted. However, there were some interesting things along the way.... - ok so my partner and I both use the desktop system running 32 bit Win 8 (on a relatively high end Pentium D) - th...

Viewing Cumulus on an alternative system
Well, I couldn't find anything re. this on other threads, honest :) So, I have Cumulus running on a Win 8 desktop system in one part of the house where it is easiest to set up the attached USB display device for data collection. However, apart from the obvious of looking at wunderground.com where th...

Re: Fine Offset PCE-FWS 20 wireless
Oh well, it arrived yesterday anyway and I installed it today. It is difficult to find anything in this godforsaken country at the best of times but fortunately the two jubilee clips that came with the device were just large enough to encompass the 5cm existing pole and the 2cm pole provided. It wor...

Re: Fine Offset PCE-FWS 20 wireless
Hey I'm in Bulgaria and have been providing webcam images to Wunderground for a while and thought I would like to start sending weather data too. I've ordered a PCE-FWS 20 from Amazon.de but, as usual, I'm having to wait awhile for delivery. It'll be hooked up to a system running Win 8 and, as per r...
