ok just an update on this. if I have rapid fire on no updates on the site. turn it off and it works without any problem. still have the error message as before so don't think it is anything to do with weather underground updating. so I think this is sort of fixed as long as you don't use rapid fire....

thanks for that info. I have disabled the ipv6 after problems yesterday and it is still disabled. it had errors so I clicked clear errors and restarted it and it now works. did not even no about f12 so thanks for your help. will now try some testing just need to sort out weather underground.

when the dashboard opens it looks ok no error massagers that I can see.

just a thought, shot in the dark, of chance clasping at straws, the list could go on but could it be a problem with java? don't no that much about it so have no idea about changing anything in it other than the updates.

ok yes ipv6 was on so turned if off on wifi, Bluetooth and Ethernet. would only let me alter one at a time and needed restart after each. check them all after restarts and still off. ran cumulus still looks the same just dashes.

its windows 8.1 and internet explorer that I am using but on a dell pc so using it as a normal desktop

is there anything I can check to see how its configed for ipv6?

change the setting in avg and even shut down the firewall but still only dashes

same error in the log but it is showing a bit more information

that is what I thought so does that mean it would not work with this new build

I think I have the same problem with wh1080. running it on windows 8.1 but in device manager it only shows as a human interface device and there does not seem to be any way to tell windows to change the port. I no on xp and vista you can change them but this is missing with windows 8.1 or have I mis...

you can count me in to test on windows 7 and 8.1

could even hook up the old greenhouse unit with the rg11 instead of the normal tip bucket
