Re: Display Light

More information about this when you search. Have found though that keeping the light on changes the pressure readings. I've tested it my self.

Re: Random spikes corrupting all-time records

OK, I knew Cumulus had some sort of spike removal feature, and I had a little look, but I don't really have any idea how to use it. Can you give me some pointers on how I may be able to set up spike removal to remove those dew point/humidity spikes? That seems to be my main problem, and I'm not sur...

Re: Position of Moon on Cumulus

3 years latter (from the last post on this) Ive Googled, read these forums and I do believe Laurie is onto something. Looking at his site, it still show's the moon the wrong way round. .. and I'm having the same issue. (Unless I stand upside down) In the Latitude [deg] section us Southerners can't ...

Re: High Gust Alarm

Because my netbook is in the lounge I have an alarm set in Cumulus to play a sound when a wind gust exceeds 30mph. It's really useful. I'm the same, when the alarms are triggered my computer talks to me to let me know what is happening. I also use the High Gust Alarm to adjust pictures on my...

Re: Accuracy of a WH3081

WS1081 will read humidity down to 10% (manual says 1%) otherwise mine reads pretty spot on with others. Not sure if the model you want will be the same or not in regards to humidity readings, but it is something to consider if you live in a fire danger area (and wish to run a website with fire dange...

missing data in dayfile that 1.9.0 didn't have

When in Cumulus and you select "edit dayfile" I have missing data fields (only from when I started in 2010). These extra fields were generated when I upgraded to, the much better, 1.9.1 back in 2011. Such fields are: 19: Lowest humidity 20: Time of lowest humidity 21: Highest humidity 22: ...

Re: Using LEDs to indicate thresholds past

Someone here will probably post all the Javascript to copy and paste for you. It involves the "if" and "else if" statements, and probably only 10 lines at most. But until then, go here to learn more http://www.w3schools.com/js/default.asp
