Re: Putting gauges into other custom pages

Much simpler than that. This is all I have (inside a <td> </td>) on this page http://silveracorn.nz/weather/wxtrends.php <div class="row"> <div id="tip_7" class="gauge"> <canvas id="canvas_dir" class="gaugeSizeSml"></canvas> </div> <div id="tip_...

Re: Cumulus don't import data from Davis datalogger

Looking at the earlier posts, that would suggest one of two things:- Either; The 'logger' you have is an interface but not a logger. This could be the case if it is not a Davis logger but a clone logger without the data chip. It is possible to create an interface without the memory chip which stores...

Re: PHP

While I am happy to (and have) shared self-contained packages and some pages, am not prepared to face the significant support issues associated with a complete site. If you want to have similar setup then start by downloading the Saratoga template set - there is a Cumulus version of it on the Sarato...

Re: Cumulus don't import data from Davis datalogger

Cumulus will only talk to a serial port, or an IP port, not directly to USB. So Don't change the logger to USB mode. Still don't download data after a half of day without having cumulus on :?: :?: Does this comment mean 1. Cumulus never connects to the station. OR, 2. Cumulus runs OK normally, but i...

Re: Saratoga, CumulusMX and new trend graphs

No, it was not apparent to me that you were referring to an update of the Saratoga templates. Many of my Saratoga templates have been modified in some way - some extensively and some are whole new files so updated Saratoga scripts are never just copied over the top of existing ones. Any updated scri...

Re: Saratoga, CumulusMX and new trend graphs

Sorry, you don't understand. No templates are used or updated, ever, by CumulusMX. ALL the info you see on the Saratoga style (and my other websites as well) is presented by fixed never changing non-updating files which read the only thing that does change - i.e. the .json data files. This will also...

Re: Saratoga, CumulusMX and new trend graphs

Don't understand your comment. Never had anything overwritten that was not intended. This, like the rest of Saratoga (and my other sites as well actually) is all primarily PHP. Virtually everything is static on the webserver - the only things being sent to the webserver by CumulusMX in relation to t...

Re: Saratoga, CumulusMX and new trend graphs

Like this? http://silveracorn.nz/weather/wxcharts.php (was wxgraphs.php) This has been working since February http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=13382 You will need to make changes to the attached file to suit your website layout - particularly the path settings for the lib and js ...

Re: MX b3029 latitude and longitude

OK, will have to brush up on file difference testing programs - replacing everything every time is not my preference - already lost interface refinements that way.

MX b3029 latitude and longitude

Just upgraded to b3029. It seems something has happened to latitude an longitude dp and / or rc switches Have a template file with; $lt = <#latitude dp=2 rc=y>; // latitude rc=y forces comma decimal notation to '.' decimal and another with; <#latitude dp=6> and <#longitude dp=6> These all now resolv...

date format in realtime.txt

Forgive me if this has already been covered but if so, I could not find it. I know (and I believe I understand) the issues around the changes to the date formatting codes for MX web tags. However I have always understood the format of date and time in realtime.txt was fixed and did not depend on the...

Re: CloudBase script for Cumulus Ver CU1.5

Ah, I got the impression from your earlier post that the padding process was the same in C1 and MX. On re-reading the posts it seems that was your original feeling but proved not to be the case. That would explain the lack of grumbles.

I'm sure consistency in the data file is the best solution.

Re: CloudBase script for Cumulus Ver CU1.5

Steve, It seems that everyone in the northern hemisphere should have been affected by this but I have not seen a corresponding number of complaints. Have incorporated your suggestion into the script but also changed the variable in the cloudbaseCUT.txt data file that Cumulus sends. Either or both ch...
