Re: Sat24 have changed their widgets - help required please.

Dador,
Do you mean this site? https://sat118.sat24.com/en/freeimages

The images still appear to be useable. I don't knowingly disable the api.

Re: Sat24 have changed their widgets - help required please.

Many thanks Freddie. Quite a relief it was just a couple of typos. But a different problem now. They're both letter-box format when I was planning for 845 x 615.

Any clues on how to get that?

Sat24 have changed their widgets - help required please.

I'm pretty useless at changing my website but Sat24 which I've used for years have a new owner and they've changed the widgets I use on the front page. I've copied and pasted the code generated for two satellite images but they don't show. Could some kind soul help sort out what's wrong please? I've...

Re: New Record? Post here.

Mark, your 762mm for 2023 is 40% lower than my 1069mm. It will be interesting to see what the under-recording rate is once you’ve done some analysis.

Re: New Record? Post here.

Andy, the next couple of weeks could feature little rain. With a high over Scandinavia winds will be coming from the NE. Cold, dry and sunny. Makes a refreshing change. :D Mark, if you check rainfall to date for ISTOCKPO4 (me) and IWILMS14 (the Handforth station with a new Davis VP2) try to adjust y...

Re: New Record? Post here.

I need to do some analysis of my data. The calibration has probably slowly changed over time, I need to try and do some comparisons. When my console went crazy two years ago because I had the new ISS on the same channel as the one it replaced I had several days of mega-rainfall totals. By taking th...

Re: New Record? Post here.

Hi Mark, you confirmed what I suspected. Any plans to run a script to increase your daily readings?

I’m pretty sure your rainfall record will be broken.

Rainfall too low

Strange isn't it, I'm thinking is my rain gauge faulty? This year so far hasn't even appeared in my top 10 at 748.5 mm. In tenth place at the moment is 2020 with 807 mm. Hi Mark. After several hours of steady overnight rain my station has recorded 17.3mm. The one in Handforth 15.5 but you’re showin...

Hi Mark, I often compare our readings and do feel your station is under-recording. I know you've stopped uploading to WU but it i...

Re: Annual rainfall reached on 1 October!

Since Steve didn’t create a web tag for HighestAnnualRainfall I’ve manually adjusted my all-time record page to show the current annual rainfall. I imagine the tag exists for MX. I guess many UK stations will have the light flashing during the remaining 45 days of this year. http://www.cheadlehulmew...

A seriously wet first half to November. Another yellow rain warning out for tomorrow night in to Saturday.
It seems the south coast is the new Manchester! :D

0.02” as I write this so the 2012 record has been equalled.

Re: Annual rainfall reached on 1 October!

My annual rainfall is now just 0.02” below the all-time record set in 2012. With more rain arriving overnight the record will go in the next 6 hours. What a miserable year it’s been.

Re: Annual rainfall reached on 1 October!

Today's rain courtesy of Storm Debi has pushed this year into second place for rainfall. Less than one inch now required to make it my wettest year since Istarted in May 2009.
