Re: Cumulus Realtime Gadget
Nice work, Smarmen  Your modifications to cumulusih gadget look OK to me. So I have no problem with that. Your XP gadget has the disadvantage that it updates less frequently than the realtime gadget. To avoid confusion I suggest that you create a separate thread for your gadgets, so users can ...

Thanks beteljuice.
Your noaarep.css did the trick.
(Suggest you include it in your package - alternatively write a note telling other persons about the problem)

Re: PHP Web 'viewer' for Cumulus NOAA Style reports
I just took the vanilla NOAA-reports.php and uploaded it to my web-server.
And this is what I get: http://www.ibtest.dk/vejr/NOAA-reports.php
It doesn't look as nice as Beteljuice's sample display....

Re: Cumulus Realtime Gadget
So is there an advantage to one over the other? The Davis forecast is better, in my opinion. I don't know exactly what formula they use, but it appears to use more variables and has many more possible forecasts. It seems to give a better forecast for me, at least. The Davis forecast may be better, ...

Re: Cumulus Realtime Gadget
You probably did not specify "Cumulus forecast" on the station settings panel.
The gadget uses the zambretti forecast from Cumulus, not the one from the Davis station.

Re: Cumulus Realtime Gadget
I must be missing something in the comments ... but I haven't seen an answer for it. Does anyone know what went awry if I'm not seeing the image? It's updating fine, installed fine, etc. Tried on a couple computers .. just seeing a blank spot on the top of the widget instead of the image. Using a D...

Re: Cumulus Realtime Gadget
Findings so far re Trevor's problem:
- the gadget runs against a local realtime.txt
- the gadget runs OK at home
- the gadget hangs at work, trying to do a synchronous xmlHttpRequest(method: HEAD) if the realtime.txt file is found - but responds immediately if the file does not exist
Very weird
