Re: Automatic slide show from directory (PHP)- Better soluti

JQuery isn't 'my thing' I'm afraid .... but you could try: jQuery(function($){ var slideshow=fullpageslideshow var layers=$('<div style="position:absolute;left:0;top:0; width:100%; height:100%;overflow:hidden;background:black;" />').clone().andSelf().appendTo(document.body) // var thumbs=$...

Re: Automatic slide show from directory (PHP)- Better soluti

You are an awkward cuss :lol: Sorting is NOT being done by the php part of the script but the js code (I don't know why ?) So put that back the way it was (Presumeably a js recognizable format) The options to sort by filename or date are at the bottom of the js script. Additional customizations Insi...

Re: Automatic slide show from directory (PHP)- Better soluti

You didn't give a link to the test page ....

It shouldn't make a difference but ..

fpslideshowvar.php begins

Code: Select all

<?

// try

Re: Automatic slide show from directory (PHP)- Better soluti

There are obviously lots of code snippets out there, which if the don't do what you want someone of your experince should be able to mash. ;) I assume your biggest gripes are your image load times (which of course will be determined by their size, and the actual transition effect) Here's one I found...

Re: Cumulus Realtime.txt Dashboard Template

In common with many softwares there is NO zero degree reading (1 > 360) - zero is used to denote no wind (direction), therefore it is 'calm' with NO compass bearing ;)

In marks example it would be to give a text overlay instead of a 'needle'.

Re: Cumulus Realtime.txt Dashboard Template

... in the code for wind direction i have inserted basically one code line for each degree value so there is 360 lines of code
I was wondering about that ...
Why not just one one instruction to replace current image and rotate 'base' image x degrees ?

Re: Moving Home what have other people done?

Location, location, location ......

Weather as we know can be very territorial.

So ... start from scratch, but do see if local schools, library, other enthusiasts, whatever maybe interested in your old data.

Re: Cumulus ‘Current Conditions’ Alternative v3.0

'Fog' is given when NOT raining and cloudbase < 10m. 'Cloudy' is from your solar readings. Check what your RH was at the time - it may be that your RH needs calibrating through Cumulus. See earlier in the thread: http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=12831&start=75 and http://sand...

Re: weather station pole

Not sure what you are saying .... In an ideal world your temp / hygro should be just below head height (historically so they could be read without a ladder) and your anemometer should be 15m / 30ft above local ground level and much further away from trees / buildings than most people can possibly ac...

Re: indoor temp/humidity data?

using a wmr968 with only the indoor sensor, no others.
I don't think Cumulus will log anything without an outdoor temp reading ?

Can't you put your 'outside' sensor in the room ?

Re: WH-1081 hardware question (newbie)

Hm, I just realized that in the area I want mount the sensors, there is a tree on one side, only a few meters away - I guess that would affect the wind measurement, ... .. just a bit !!! I read in another thread that the rain sensor shouldn't be installed as pictured in the manual (too high on the ...
