Re: Davis Reception Stats

Currently I am using a WLL device which takes 4x AA batteries as backup. You will notice the other stats are slightly different too, including having access to the RSSI figures. The good/bad packet counts are not cumulative like the VP2 either, they appear to reset every 15 mins.

Re: Build 3081 - new SFTP errors

Please try MX version 3.6.6 and see if that improves matters.

I will have to look at the file locking as a separate issue, I think I know the cause, but it will have to wait for another release. Meantime the new release should reduce the occurrence of that error.

Thanks, the error will not be causing any big problems, but I'll fix it in the next release.

Re: CumulusMX Freezing

I have no further suggestions about what could be wrong. You are running an old version of Cumulus, I'd upgrade it to the latest version as it makes support much easier. What firmware version is your console running? It has never replied to a version request in any of the logs I have seen, which cou...

Re: Build 3080 Realtime FTP.

Interesting that you see a GUID prepended to the ftp log file. I've never seen that.

The file (normally without the GUID - ftplog.txt) is always created when Cumulus runs, that content is normal when FTP logging is not enabled.

Ah! From that log - a guess... Is your WLL LAN attached rather than WiFi?

Re: The dreaded 'error [object Object]'

Did you look at the next page in the extra web file settings? If you cannot sort it then I will need to see your Cumulus.ini file - but that contains usernames and passwords so do not post it on the forum. And where is the error that is the title of this thread occurring? - [object Object] That soun...

Re: Build 3081 - new SFTP errors

Thanks, I have found the problem with real time SFTP. One step at a time it seems to sort out this real time FTP!

SFTP does not log to the FTPlog as its not really FTP - it enables additional logging in the MXdiags file.

Re: Who has a HG-11 2020?

Does it not work as Cumulus 1 - connected to a serial port? All the code is in place for it to work.

The copy of indexT.htm included in the latest releases should "just work".

Re: Build 3081 - new SFTP errors

I need to see a log file with debug and FTP logging enabled please. The FTP connection has clearly failed for whatever reason. There was a change to the realtime process in that previous releases do NO realtime processing if the FTP failed. Now it does all the processing each time, even if it cannot...

Re: Data Log editors

Agreed, changing that button back to "close" would be better for both instances. Ideally it would be Cancel on the first and change to Close and the second case - but I have more pressing calls on my time than seeing if that is possible at the moment.

Re: Website Upload with Pre-Shared Key (SSH/SFTP)

Correct, SFTP currently only supports username/password as I wanted to get it out there and being used to prove it worked reliably. PSK is an option I can use, so now SSH has proved to reliable, PSK can go on the to-do list. I doubt it will recognise user keys though, you would have to supply a file.
