For the current version of Cumulus, it would be the station owner deciding what period to use. Any 'visitor' options would have to be done using some sort of server-side options, like existing stuff that's being developed. I could - but it would mean changes to the plotting code to work out when to plot. As it is, I just plot all the last n hours entries from the data files at startup, then once a minute while running, nice and simple.
