Re: Error 32701 appears a lot here

would there then be any chance that Cumulus might be made to auto-restart
the program after N seconds delay then repeat N number of retries?

Re: Error 32701 appears a lot here

thanks for the guidance. I see I have Disconnect set for 10 seconds in Cumulus. I just changed that to 15 ... but golly-gee ... makes me wonder if the Davis weatherlink_ip is acting up or getting trashed by the router. The error just happened about five mins ago. definitely not at the top of the hou...

Error 32701 appears a lot here

I am trying to figure out what I have incorrectly "set" either in the ASUS router or on the win 7/64 pc. The message to check my internet connections appears a few times in a day then maybe 3 or 4 days later. No pattern. However, there is no indication on the PC. That is, the web is still ...

Windows 'Restart' requires answering the Cumulus question

I notice that, for example, when Windows-Update requires a "Restart" that it hangs up, forever, if Cumulus is running. The window asking if I am sure I want to stop the program remains unanswered and this stops the restart. Also, a planned shutdown "shutdown -s", will not complet...

Davis VP2+ not being seen by router

I put in a new router yesterday and now I can't get it to see the Davis VP2 console via Ethernet cable. Similar happened about 6 months ago. So I tried the Davis 'reset' but seems I didn't do it correctly and still no joy at the Router. is it: unplug D/C, remove batteries remove the blinking Etherne...

What sends Davis VP2 data to CWOP ?

check this. I was doing a search on my call sign to ee if I was making ISS and found that my Davis is sending routine reports of weather. At first I thought it was Cumulus but have had it stopped for a few hours. 2015-07-18 14:31:08 EDT: KD7YZ>APRS,TCPXX*,qAX,CWOP-4:@181831z3830.00N/08300.00W_198/00...

Thanks. I forgot about that one.

Re: FTP Timeout errors getting frequent

This all depends on whether your web space provider doesn't mind the frequency of the updates, some don't like updates too frequently. well, that's the point. A minute, here on the screen, is fine. But over the internet, I think every five minutes is fine, "If" some chart has recent Peaks...

Re: FTP Timeout errors getting frequent

I see an ftplog.txt and remember turning it on earlier. I "think" I may be sending data to my web-site all too often! maybe nearly all the time? looks like I upload and it takes a minute 20. then on the "5" minute I re-connect and upload. I' would like every minute logged at home...

FTP Timeout errors getting frequent

I don't seem to notice other Internet connectivity issues here lately. However I seem to get several FTP Timeout errors a day now. Times they are a few in ten minutes then a few two hours later. Times they are not daily. Where might I look here for possible causes? This seems to have increased start...

Re: Is it possible to use sftp

Edit: A quick search turned up this thread - http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=8098 - see the last post in the thread where a user has supplied the required details. good find! his example is a much more detailed look at it! so I guess my next task is to do the actual sync. Still...
