Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via ssh - Version 1.7

Hello Chapel before I start debugging your problem, I need to start debugging a serious problem. Since today, when I used cumulusnow.sh on my system, I am getting these errors on more or less all values Humidity: 88 % - Trend (30 minutes ago): 88 % -> Humidity is constant Min/Max Humidity: Übereinst...

Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via ssh - Version 1.7

Hello Adam it seems to be okay albeit with perhaps some permission denied messages that I am not sure of the cause of. I assume, you are running the Scripts without sudo ? in this case, my script is searching in some directories where a non root user account does not have permissions....but this is ...

Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via ssh - Version 1.7

Hello Sundial indeed, this script is getting some information/values from the file: graphconfig.json Normally, this file is located in: /web/graphconfig.json subfolder of CumulusMX. Based on the output of the error message, I assume, your CumulusMX installation is located in this folder: /usr/local/...

Re: RaspberryPi: CumulusMX init.d System Startup Script

Hello

have you checked if the cumulusmx script is executable
sudo chmod +x /etc/init.d/cumulusmx

or have you made the needed changes in the top of this file to modify the path to the Cumulus Folder

CumulusMX_HOME=/CumulusMX
CumulusMX_USER=pi
NAME=CumulusMX
PIDFILE=/tmp/$NAME.pid

RaspberyPi with CumulusMX - System Uptime

In the past weeks, I lost my weatherstation out of my mind because of a few other things I had to do but today, I need to check my system and I was totally surprised. Please look at this screenshot: Cumulus_Uptime.jpg Unfortunatley, just before I made this screenshot, I had to restart the cumulus so...

Re: Cumulus on a Samba share - no autostart with start stop skript

As far as I remember I made this option because for any reason the cron entry "@reboot" does not work anymore. Someone had CumulusMX installed on a USB drive but it was mounted after the init.d Sctipt was executed with the result, that CumuluxMX could not be started. For this reason, I mad...

Re: Cumulus on a Samba share - no autostart with start stop skript

Hello the cumulusMX Start Stop Script is able to handle such conditions. Some month ago, one had a problem running cumulusmx.sh when installed on a USB Drive which was also not mounted at system boot. PLease check this: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13767&start=150 Or a ...

Re: error SocketException Address already in use

Novy.....the way you are using it now is the best way.
As Steve wrote, use the "dark interface" which is only for non public to configure CumulusMX and your weatherstation.
FTP the generated files into another folder and point your Apache to publish them for the inernet users.

Raspbian is a Debian ....and the one I mentioned above is Raspbian Light without all graphical userinteface...
so there shuold be no difference between Raspbian and Raspbian light only the GUI is missing in the light version (but who need it)
Maybe download, install and give it a try

Re: error SocketException Address already in use

Hello Novy the init.d script you are using is indeed the one I wrow .....and I can also see that you are using the CumulusMX Start Stop script (cumulusmx.sh) however, you removed the init.d Script which is a kind of autostart job when the system boots up. You wrote, that you moved (or removed) the /...
