Re: New release
Cumulus normally calculates the Beaufort force on the average wind speed (as defined by UK met office). I'll check that it is doing that for the realtime file - it should be using the average, and is wrong if it isn't.

Re: Initial Location Entry
The Cumulus.ini files have both ways but not sure how each is use The entries Latitude/Longitude are the decimal values of position. These are used by Cumulus for its calculations. The entries LatTxt/LonTxt are text representations of the position, they are derived from the values above when they a...

Re: cumulus stop process file
OK, thanks for the logfile. It looks like the realtime SSH file copies get in a state where MX is waiting for the copy to finish and it never does. It should timeout and try to close/re-establish the relatime connection (like it does to FTP, FTPS) but it hasn't kicked in for some reason. I have seen...

Re: Last Rainfall date format problem
<#LastRaintipISO> always displays the date/time in ISO format (the clue is in the name). I added the <#LastRainTip> tag to version 3.6.1 to which you can add a format string if you wish, otherwise it will use the default formatting.

Re: Data Summary - possible calculation error
No. February 2010 would be part of Winter 2009. We usually refer to it as "The Winter of 2009/2010" The infamous December 2010 would be part of Winter 2010/2011. Though to be fair the met office seem to mix the two conventions. They refer to winter 2010/11 but then on some data sets make ...

Meteorological winter starts on the 1st December, not the solstice.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Ah, yes, because it is using the season year in cal_days_in_month(). The actual year in say Feb 2016 (seasonal) will be 2017 = 28 days, but lookup will find 29 days. So, the checks need to be something like this... $dayCnt = cal_days_in_month(CAL_GREGORIAN, $m_offset[$m], $typeS_year[$d] + ($m_offse...

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Looking at this again with a view to hacking my seasons to start with spring, I notice that the seasonal February data is flagged as incomplete each leap year (2016, 2012, 2008). But the February in question will actually be from the year following the leap years though.
