Flooding in Britain.

Post by slateybear »

Living in south Central Queensland, and having spent the last three wet seasons being severely inconvenienced [though luckily not submerged,] by flooding, I can sympathise with the people affected. Fortunately, you have so far not experienced the casualties that we did, and I hope it stays that way. We get a small amount of news about the situation over there, but most of that is about people stranded at airports and train stations, and not much about the causes. If anyone has any information on rainfall, I would be interested in a comparison with our past experiences. Having only just set up my WS and joined the forum, I don't have any data other than quite accurate rainfall figures from my 250mm gauge.
Regards,
Slateybear.
