Citizen Science Workshop - Meteorology

The Australian Meteorology and Oceanography Society are holding a Citizen Science Workshop on March 25th 2017, at U3A Rooms, 26 Sinclair Avenue, Glen Iris Vic 3146.

9:00am - 4:30pm

The Workshop program includes:
1. Instrumentation - Weather Stations and Sensors;
2. Collecting the Data;
3. How to model this Data;
4. How a forecast is created;
5. How a forecast is broadcast in the media;
6. Climate
7. Projects which you can be involved.

Speakers are from, Bureau of Meteorology, Melbourne University, Monash University.

Posters and displays of equipment will also be on view.

Fee: $25.00 (includes Morning, Afternoon Tea and Light Lunch)

Shame it isn't being held in Canberra. If it was I'd be there.
