We had a bit of rain here the other day. More precisely, we had a bit of rain here between 15:00 and 19:00 on 20 April 2010.

More formally...
Hourly rain: 37.5mm at 16:50 on 20 April 2010
Daily rain: 89.1mm at 08:43 on 21 April 2010

[I can loosely verify the daily rain total, as our old-style manual rain gauge filled up, was emptied - I was silly enough to go out into it - and nearly filled up again.]

No kidding! I know it's winter in Canada, but everyone was feeling rather indignant about that cold snap. Maybe the rest of the winter will seem easy by comparison. :?

On the 29th December 2008 I've been on Sanday with some BT guys to fix your communication problems after that big storm.

We've been having more problems recently! Lightning struck something a month or so ago, and things still don't seem to have got back to normal, we're still having intermittent broadband failures.
