Hi Steve,
Yes, that's how I knew. It flashed the day before too but only a 2.5 degree diffference.

Thanks - it works for me too (my record was also broken recently) but there's one report of it not working.

Neither of the 2 images in your signature have a link to your website. A link would be nice. ;)

This December has just broken my wettest month record - currently 116mm and raining quite a bit today, no white Christmas for us.

Six days later than Mark and my all-time monthly rain record has gone today.

6.18" (157mm) and it's still raining! The record had stood since Nov 2009.

http://www.cheadlehulmeweather.co.uk/record.htm

My all-time wind gust was also equalled today - 46mph.

Well done Ray! You just beat me in the wind department, just don't go trying to compare the rain. Thanks to you, I've just realised that my yearly record isn't displayed on my website, so I best be fixing that now. BFN :)

Oh yes, nearly forgot. Just got a record......Highest Minimum Temperature (you guys in the UK are gonna feak I'm sure)...29.3C. AIRCON ON...AIRCON ON NOW!!!

Blimey! :o You wait for ages for an all-time record to go and then get two in less than 3 hours!

Highest wind gust of 46mph (over 2 years old) has just been broken and now stands at 49mph.

Don't laugh Steve! :lol:

Truly scary temps iceberg. I noticed you're 8 degrees further south than me. Thank goodness for the Gulf Stream!

Canada surely get the extremes. "Iceberg", looking at your website, the pics are all different sizes. My screen resolution is only 1024x 768 (however, my stats suggest it's one of the most used on my site), and a lot of the pics are too big. Could I suggest changing it so that they fit the screen dependent no matter what screen resolution?
eg. you have:
Code:
<img style="border:2px solid #000000;" src="http://www.goldcountryweather.com/dc/skymet/skymet_us_canada.png" width="1918" height="1279" alt="United States &amp; Canada Meso Map - Updates every 10 minutes" />

Suggest you change to (and I added something extra!):
Code:
<img style="border:2px solid #000000;" src="http://www.goldcountryweather.com/dc/skymet/skymet_us_canada.png" width="100%"  title="Meso Map, updates every 10 Minutes" alt="United States &amp; Canada Meso Map - Unavailable.  Please check back later" />
