And my record dry period since I started my station 127 days Monday, July 7, 2014

Came close to breaking our High temp record today too with 118.3F, but my record is 121.2F from back on June 20th, 2017.

Well you do live in what we Brits would describe as a desert. :D I don't suppose you have lawns and bedding plants? Just cactus! ;) Those records sound brutal.

My record lowest humidity is 17% in March 2017. That's pretty exceptional for an island that gets most of its weather from the North Atlantic. Yours would be interesting.

Yesterday's Low Humidity was 13% at 3:55PM and the High Humidity was 41% at 8:51AM.

It cooled off a bit today, the high temp was 115.8F. :)

You actually do get used to it, and you don't have to shovel sunshine.

Humidity this year has been as high as 97% and as low as 2%.

Closest ocean is probably 180 miles SSW down to the Gulf of California, or 275 miles West to the Pacific Ocean. :)

A new sunshine hours record for me. Up to 243.7 hours for July, and there's still 5 days to go.

SunshineByMonth.png

May, June and July all above the derived Met Office average for this area. 480.3 hours for Summer, with over a month to go.

2.2mm of rain this morning ended a period of 56 consecutive dry days which started after 0.2mm was recorded on 1st June.
Trying to remember where I left the lawn mower!
