Some of the 30,000 airline passengers who have been stranded by cancellations caused by a cloud of ash from a Chilean volcano are on the move, with Virgin Australia and Qantas resuming flights. Qantas and Jetstar have resumed flights to and from Melbourne, while Virgin Australia is operating flights out of Melbourne, Tasmania and New Zealand...

...whilst over here in Western Australia we just get spectacular sunrises due to the atmospheric ash. (Taken at 0708hrs 13 June 2011)
