... and my rain gauge has a funnel full of hail - that's going to give a great rain rate when it melts (hoping it does, it's flippin' chilly today!)

Fortunately here the (air) temperature has been just above freezing for most of the last few days, so all of the snow we've had in the gauge has thawed nice and slowly.
