The problem is that there isn't enough data from the logger to calculate a proper average, as there is only a value logged every 5 minutes. I suspect that the true average would have been around 65 mph.

Bits of seaweed, wood, plastic, general rubbish - an empty lager can hit the window at one point. Being close to the sea means that all kinds of rubbish gets washed ashore, and then blown about.
