Snow and Blizzards in the UK from 18th Jan.....

Well if you want to believe the hype we in the UK are in for a lot of snow with blizzard conditions from the 18th

. Lets see what comes to pass....

If you know what the upstream patterns are doing then you can get an idea of what may occur later down the line.

Yes, I've heard about some significant snow on Friday.

I live in East Devon so we are in for a chance, hopefully!

85mm of snow here in Reigate, Surrey (UK) from yesterday and a light dusting overnight....

Yes, we only got a dusting at Newton Poppleford, Devon! But, just 50 m higher up in the hills, there was about 8 cm of snow!

Then, in the evening we got about 2 cm of snow, before it all melted by morning.

Though, I did like going out and taking some photos of it!
