Pernazy(Piotr) was saying some members purchased and built these for other members and may have some left.
I'm debating, should I grab one if these Red kits or wait a few months for the new one that are also offered prebuilt....
Why is yours in limbo???

Unfortunately out of my control.

From what I have been reading there will be some changes with the system and the new kits but nothing specific released as yet. We are out of the usual lightning season so waiting wouldn't be a big issue here but you might be in more active season.

Let us know how you make out. Enjoy,
Paul

We are in the middle of summer here, so lightning season, do not get too many storms anyway.
But would be interesting never the less..

Have to wait for now......

I've been interested in this exact same system for a year now. I'd love to see how you go Chris. You might already have seen some of my lightning shots, it makes it a bit easier when you live in the lightning capital of Australia. If they aren't pre built, I should be able to do it, or get my technition buddy to do it.
The problem I have is that there is only 1 other person within 3000km using this system. I'll have to convince some more to connect which I can do through my Facebook weather likers. Anyway, I look forward to seeing your progress.
Ps. I need to upgrade my webcam. What do you use?

Be another 3-4 months before the new system is released, should be pre built.
Guess I'm lucky to have 2 other users about 400km from me.
So I can't wait for the release, but not looking forward to the price tho.

As for my camera, I'm using a Foscam FI9805W at the moment.
