Pressure reading problem

Hi i have a weather station Model N96GY.
Everything woks fine except the pressure reading is stuck on 1013.2 i have tried removing / replacing batteries but it just goes back to the same reading. :cry:
Any ideas what needs to be replaced etc.

have exactly the same problem.

Best guess is poor sensor but am reluctant to delve as everything else is working.

Plenty of info on case innards but ?

Hi,

Sorry, I was away for the first post. But there's not really much that can be done, except perhaps "cannibalise" the sensor from an otherwise faulty console. It's easy enough to open the console (lots of screws) with typical photos (mainly from 2009) shown in this thread. The pressure sensor is shown towards the top of photo #3 and mentioned at the foot of page 1.

But beware that Fine Offset do change the design/components occasionally, without changing the model number(s). So if your version looks diffferent, it probably is! However, at least calibration should be possible, using the Relative Pressure facility, if you do manage to repair it.
