Not sure how this will affect the many thousands of amateur weather enthusiasts out there sending data to WU or using WU data in scripts. The blurb does say 'The Weather Channel is committed to keeping the Weather Underground brand and the web site in its current form.' so that does give us some hope but I'm also wary of the fact that TWC stopped providing xml data a few months back. They wanted some outrageous amount to access the data they had been giving away for free previously.
