What Models Still have USB ports?

Postby WoodburyMan » Sun Dec 24, 2017 1:23 am

My WS-2095 seems to be having issues as of late again. Last one lasted a bit over 2 years, this one may be knocking out soon.

The US FineOffset branded devices Ambient Weather seem to lack any consoles specifically featuring USB ports and are all moving to have WiFi and direct transmitting to weather services on the device.

What devices for FineOffset do we have left that are compatible with CumuluxMX? (IE same protocol, and the station supports USB connections).

Hi there.

You'll find all supported devices in the wiki here:

http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Supported_Devices

it will take you to search google and weather shops alike to see what is still available for sale.

Thanks for the link! That however is outdated.. For example the ws-2095's I've had for 4 years are not on the wiki :). And pretty much all those on the list, that are Fine Offset at least which are that typical low cost solution vs say Davis, are no longer being made. My question was more directed as "what new current production Fine Offset stations are compatible and have USB ports?".. As all the new consoles for new models lack pictures and most do not have USB ports...

The manufacturer's web site
http://www.foshk.com/Weather%5FProfessional/
still shows the WH1080 Professional touch screen Weather Center with PC interface via USB. Some of the others still mention PC interface, although I did not spot USB elsewhere.
I can't however answer as to which are available in USA.

Thanks for the reply!

Looking at that page, it looks like the WH3080 might be their "latest and greatest" being about a year old, probably replacing the WS-2080 series.

I just need to locate a US seller as you said. Thank you!
