Rain Issues With Direct Feed From EasyWeather Stations

Post by glen.day »

Hi Steve,

I'm extremely happy that you have now integrated a live feed with EasyWeather stations to the Cumulus application and now uninstalled EasyWeather from my machine and I am only using the Cumulus application to read directly from my weather station.

But I am still having problems with rain figures :cry: , I was hoping once EasyWeather was uninstalled this would correct the issue but it doesn't seem to have fixed the problem (or another rain issue has appeared?).

My Cumulus application is reading under the rainfall part:-

Rate = 0.0
Last Hour = 0.0
Today = 23.7mm
Yesterday = 1.0mm
This Month = 24.0mm
This Year = 24.0mm

My Weather Station Reads:-

1h = 0.0mm
24h = 0.0mm
Week = 0.3mm
Month = 0.3mm
Total = 0.3mm

I don't know whats happening? Please help.

Glen,

I think this may be a follow-on from the problems you were having with Cumulus crashing at startup.

If you stop Cumulus and delete the today.ini and yesterday.ini files, then start Cumulus again, this will hopefully fix it.

You may then still have some of this incorrect rainfall in your data files - you could edit them to remove the rainfall. An editor is being written to help with this, so you may want to wait for that.
