WH1080 high inside temperature?

Post by ramrod »

Ive had a 1080 for about a month without any real problems up to the last few days. I have started to lose contact with the sensors. Ive fitted lithium batteries and reset, I appear to reconnect quickly to the sensors now but my internal temperature is up at 160+C.

Further resets have not helped, any ideas?

Cumulus is not showing data as attched pic, Easyweather is not displaying inside temp or pressure.

Cumulus will be discarding the data as invalid because of the faulty indoor temperature sensor.

Does this sound like a faulty unit?

It sounds like it to me, yes. When you reset, did you remove batteries and USB cable? Have you tried running just on USB power, with no batteries?

Yes same problem on USB. I ran Setlogger and changed the period at 10.08pm last night, I have no logged data in Easyweather after that time but the inside temp was working this morning, could this be related?

If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll have a look at what Cumulus is seeing; whether there's anything else odd apart from the inside temp reading.

I can't see anything obviously unusual other than the bad indoor temp reading and the occasional loss of contact with the outdoor sensors, I'm afraid. I think it must be faulty.
