vaggoss tell us your ok , the last three days was unbearable i collapsed with heat exhaustion spent three days in bed recovering, i see there are some serious fires in your region, we had a few but nothing significant.

fwiw average was 35 c dewpoint average 23 max 25c , humidity above 80% for three days combine those it is totally unbearable whilst the 35c is not horrific its the dewpoint and humidity combinations that cripples you. humidex was 40-45c .

anyway tell us your fine vaggos ..brian

Brian,

It looks as though his weather station is still operational so hopefully all is fine.
Hope your are recovering from your heat exhaustion? Take it easy.

thats good to know i was just watching the bbc news unbelievable stories people jumping into the sea to escape the fires .. his region is somewhat hotter and dry than here we get the heat with intense humidity.. so not such a fire risk here but from the scenes im seeing near athens its quite shocking..

thanks for the kind thoughts ..

Hello to all.
Thanks a lot Brian. And all of you.
The situation is indescribable. The dead have reached almost 80. About 50 people are missing. Many families were trapped in their homes. They found one of them in the arms of the other. The wind was running at 100 km. Many were saved by falling into the sea. In ten minutes fire was going from one mountain to another.
I live about half an hour from the front and the dense fumes, hide the sun.
Again, thank you.
Regards
Vaggelis

Thanks a lot Steepleian.
Every day they found people dead. And almost little boyws and girls. Because of summer, parrents give their child to grand fathers ans grand mothers.
The fire runs very fast. And they try to go to the sea. But because of the smoke they can't run.
Terrible.

Hi, would anyone have an idea why my forecast pane is showing the forecast for yesterday, today and tomorrow. Dates an Cumulus, website and pc all are correct. Perhaps it may have been like it all along and I have just noticed!

Thanks for the reply, I’ve tried that, it also happens when using other people’s phones etc. I believe that the forecast comes from Weather Underground so that may be the problem. I will wait to see if there are other ideas or else I will just put up with it.

Thanks Pete

Can I use CumulusMX to upload the Realtime.txt file? I can upload using WinSCP as an ftp client but not automatically. Apologies if this has been asked already however there are a lot of pages on the subject and I am probably not searching for the right information.

no need to search. just goto the web console of CumulusMX, Settings, Internet Settings, Web/FTP Settings.

the realtime settings are there.
