Cumulus Realtime.txt Dashboard Template

I think this is a easy question but I have no idea what to do
When I look at the home weather station I can see it go 1 hour before my time so when is time is now is 00:18 then on the page is 01:18.
I have right time on the computer that grap the information from weather station and Comulus MX show right time too.
So I guess that is some config file that I need to change?

shortly I and my friends have installed a station (fine offset wh6006 3g) that automatically sends data on wunderground and does not generate a realtime.txt file
I wanted to know if it was possible to read the data from the wunderground, even through the bees.

unfortunately NO it only uses realtime.txt ,it used to use the wunderground API method 2 years ago or more but it has many limitations you are restricted by the API limit calls per day of 500 so you will not see realtime live updates you would have to set the intervals as not to go over the limit per day.

in short you would be just better of bookmarking your wunderground PWS page.

due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the use of the weather display software i have decided not to continue supporting or developing for weather display. So therefore I would like to open up the Cumulus support once again , in recent months i wanted to tailback on the different development and support for the various versions it was all getting somewhat overwhelming. Unfortunately I took the decision to tailback any further development for the cumulus software as most of it was probably the most stable version available at the time. However since then some newer modules and features have been done which I can adapt to the Cumulus release to bring it up to date.

Also I would like to fully implement Tony's (HRvista) mysql version into the download in the near future.
I also have a version(module) using the Sager Forecaster and metar scripts found on this forum and have adapted to the template actually in use at
https://weather34.com for current conditions and outlook text . it basically updates the outlook every 12 hours based on a 6 hour average reading of the pressure and wind as per the original thread description.

so accept my apologies for not being around and adding things on but removing weather display from the process frees up my time to include extras for the cumulus version.

i will look to add on the extras next week and put up a demo page of the cumulus version use realtime.

and if you have any ideas or personal preferences then please let me know I will do my best to add them on with a relative easy solution I hope.

I was wondering if it was possibly to incorporate the Meteoalarm warnings within your template too. maybe as a popup or something along those lines.

I have tried to incorporate the alarm bar on my saratoga template and tested just the example given, but this gave me an array error which I think is possibly down to PHP 7.1 compatibility. I gave up on the script in the end as i am not knowledgeable enough on how to fix that issue.

If you look at what you have posted on http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=%20...%20#msg336608, the term "Mostly Cloudy" appears exactly as that, a full 3 times for each aerodrome, and that is something that I dislike about Ken's design (sorry Ken) for showing METAR.
If you have been monitoring this forum, you may have seen http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&p=127326#p127326 where I mention my own rival product for the output of METAR. On that page last referenced, I refer to PaulMy having both the Saratoga and my version available on his web site so that a direct comparison between the two outputs is easy.

I developed my suite back in July, initially just for UK and nearby continental stations. Subsequently, I have extended it to worldwide, but Canada has proved very tricky, hence I appreciate Paul's assistance. Unfortunately, I introduced some bugs into an update and that buggy version is currently on his site. I have just sent Paul a new version that is better, but it will probably be a couple of days before it is up on his web site.

Let me know by reply here, or a PM, if you would appreciate seeing my code. I have only been sharing my code by PM so far, as just at the time I produced my first version you reported

the damage is done you are free to do whatever you wish I have no control over that , i have no inclination to pursue or continue , i feel cheated , it took 2 years to put this altogether and I don't recall any communication with you to use this in a commercial or personal profit environment .

do as you wish and whatever amendments you make should be because its honest not because someone is forcing you with the issue..

I am truly finished as I said you wont be last and I don't want to deal with it, it was a hobby carried on using techniques learnt from working as a designer for many years..

Plus I am still just teaching myself programming, I may make mistakes and introduce bugs as I am still learning. (I did try hard by testing against over a thousand different METAR, but when you are deciphering the Remarks Group as I am the possibilities for what might be reported seem endless in their variability). I don't have ability to offer support, multiple languages or any other extras that so many of the people who share their code can offer. The whole exercise for me was a way of keeping my mental abilities active and my spirits up during a bad health period when I was unable to be physically active. I do want to retain the interlectuall property rights for my creation and I reserve all rights to me to control what can happen to it.

i tend to use kens scripts as I fully understand his coding i often can read ahead where its going, i complimented him on this so i tend to trust it and don't normally spend much more than 15-30 minutes at the most implementing his stuff .

anyway yhanks for the kind offer if you send me a sample of your code or point to a download and if I can get my head around it in a reasonable amount of time means I can support it ongoing thats what I kind of look for because trust me users are your best friends for finding stuff / errors ultimately it will come back to me if I implement it.

i think your standard version is behind but wait till next week ill update all the features of the cumulus version over the weekend. i wouldn't change the mysql version just yet i will get in touch with Tony and try and make that as an option to download again i need to see the code to understand things for support.
I think Tony has done some impressive stuff with the template so perhaps some additional features might be available as well.

i think the PHP upgrade is worth it and 7.2 is about to be released that might create some havoc with some older scripts in other templates , especially numerical outputs it is easily remedied but could be time consuming for large templates with many pages. i have seen some reference where some are told to turn error reporting but that doesn't actually fix the problem . so beware need help as always you have my email.its no problem.

Good afternoon Brian,
That is good news about Cumulus. I have been trying to work on a Cumulus mysql version myself with a few suggestions from Simon but it’s not quite so easy with just a Weewx generated realtime.txt file to work with.

However, a little bit of success, I have managed to get mysql working on a X5 WS-1001 version if this is useful for anybody using any of its clones. It’s live at the moment on the link below. Not much good data in the dB at the moment but the graphs all seem to working.

I have also been trying like Simon to get the Meteoalarm working but it’s way beyond me at the moment. I’ll look forward to see how this develops.

Brian, just installed the CU-X7 template. in the menu.php you have this:

what or where is $weather34mapicon ??

I've added my own for the time being as i could not get the default one to show.
