Moon.bmp

Post by nipper »

I have set up webpages using the standard Cumulus templates and everything works okay except the moon.bmp image does not display. It exists in the images directory. I have viewed in in IE11 and Chrome v51.

Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?

Thanks for your help.

Could you give a link to your web site, please?

The moon.bmp link gives a 404 not found - http://www.yarmouth-harbour.co.uk/weath ... s/moon.bmp

Are you sure it's in the images folder (on the server)?

If it is there, then I can only think that it's some kind of configuration error on the web server which isn't allowing it to serve a .bmp file. But you could try deleting the existing file with an ftp client, to see if a new upload fixes the problem.

It appears there was a limitation on the web server as you suggested. It is now working.

Many thanks for your help.
