Website up and running thanks to DAJ

Post by RayProudfoot »

I want to publicly thank David (DAJ) for hosting my website and helping me through the process of setting it up. He couldn't have been more helpful so thanks David.

I bought my domain name at 10pm last night and within a couple of hours my website was up and running. His offer to host Cumulus websites takes away all the anxiety of doing it myself with my limited web hosting knowledge.

If you've been thinking about setting up a Cumulus website then I would really recommend his service. Here's mine. If you are overseas then it may be another 24 hours before you can see it. http://www.cheadlehulmeweather.co.uk
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

 Hey man, cut me some slack. You can see rainfall and wind speed in proper measurements. ;)

I would like to show all readings in both formats but I guess that isn't possible except for the Realtime gauge.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

It's not possible using the standard stuff, but you can do it using some of the cleverer stuff that people have come up with using PHP etc.

Yes...have a look at my website...at the bottom under conditions. I've only done them for temps & dewpoint ... but looking into doing conversions for all of them.

Thanks Steve. As my knowledge and confidence grows I'll take a look at what I can do. Small steps at the moment.

Thanks akasonny, I'll do that.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.
