If you did run it at first with weatherdisplay I think you've to add the requested files for cumulus (see cumulus specific files) and adjust the variables in Settings.php according to cumulus , I'm not sure about this because Ken is a master in this :D

there is no direct link you need to go to http://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates/WXwebsite.php check the tab scripts choose Free Weather Website Templates and find out what you need for cumulus,

well you can dowload from here http://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates/install.php choose World Template .ZIP and Cumulus .ZIP but you better read the instructions.

Thanks again, Ron...I'm almost there - just a few questions ;)

1: Can't figure out why I got the wrong date & year?
2: on "wxforecast.php" the pictures wont show??
3: "Daily Stats" says: "Note: trends not available since weather station not yet specified".

Cheers,
Frank :)

1 I think you need dashes change the date format in Settings.php to
Code:
$SITE['timeFormat'] = 'd-m-Y H:i';       // Euro format 31/03/2006 14:03
// $SITE['timeFormat'] = 'Y-m-d H:i';       // ISO  format 2006-03-31 14:03

// $SITE['timeOnlyFormat'] = 'g:ia';          // USA format h:mm[am|pm\
$SITE['timeOnlyFormat'] = 'H:i';          // Euro format hh:mm  (hh=00..23);
$SITE['dateOnlyFormat'] = 'd-m-Y';        // for 31-Mar-2008 or 'j/n/Y' for Euro format

Code:
$SITE['WDdateMDY'] = false; // for weather software date format of month/day/year.  =false for day/month/year

2 you have upload the icons to the right directory, be sure you have a folder /cache it must be write-able use the command chmod 755 if that will not help use chmod 777

be sure to turn off wxsim forecast because you don't have this change Settings.php in
Code:
$SITE['WXSIM']         = false;  // Set to false if you have not installed WXSIM

3 I'm not sure this is a feature for cumulus but did you upload Settings-weather.php <-- this is a specific file from the cumulus.zip

Hope this helps I'm going to sleep , otherwise I will try to look up tommorrow if you have further questions please specify your date format and time format in cumulus.

1: Not solved!! (got an extra month while trying :shock: )
Tried everything...no luck, and not exactly sure what you meant by "dash change.." :?
This is how it looks right now:
Code:
// $SITE['timeFormat'] = 'D, d-M-Y g:ia T';  // Day, 31-Mar-2006 6:35pm Tz  (USA Style)
// $SITE['timeFormat'] = 'm/d/Y g:ia';      // USA  format 03/31/2006 14:03
$SITE['timeFormat'] = 'H:i d/m/Y';       // Euro format 31/03/2006 14:03
// $SITE['timeFormat'] = 'Y-m-d H:i';       // ISO  format 2006-03-31 14:03
$SITE['WDdateMDY'] = false; // for weather software date format of month/day/year.  =false for day/month/year
// $SITE['timeOnlyFormat'] = 'g:ia';          // USA format h:mm[am|pm\
$SITE['timeOnlyFormat'] = 'H:i';          // Euro format hh:mm  (hh=00..23);
$SITE['dateOnlyFormat'] = 'd/m/Y';        // for 31-Mar-2008 or 'j/n/Y' for Euro format

2: OK

3: Not solved!
The "Settings-weather.php" was uploaded!
The time on my "old" page shows: "<caption>Conditions at local time 22:40 on 07 oktober 2011</caption>".

Hope we can figure this out later today....bedtime here as well - thanks again for helping out :clap:

First, Frank, the the 'PHP/AJAX Website Template Set' produced by Saratoga-Weather are NOT for 'beginner' weather station operators - a basic knowledge of HTML and PHP (two web page programming languages) is required! :roll:

Before downloading and trying to install the 'PHP/AJAX Website Template Set', Frank, did spend a few minutes reading (and trying to understand) the instructions which Ken True (the designer) spent a lot of time preparing for new users like you... :roll:

Just to confirm what Ron has already written, every files found inside the 'cumulus.ZIP' (including the 'Settings-weather.php' script) have to be included into the directory/folder where the 'World Template .ZIP' has been (should have been) extracted.

Before even trying to obtain some web page results (display), two files MUST be edited: 'Settings.php' and 'Settings-weather.php' - information on how those files should be edited can be found on the instructions web pages.

Which software are you using to produce the 'testtags.php' file you mentioned in your first messages - Cumulus certainly DOES NOT produce such a file - that file is only produced by Weather Display!

Unless you are using a special software, you cannot operate/run both Cumulus and Weather Display on the same computer at the same time - so, you have to choose which weather software you want to use.

You have two main weather pages on your server, one produce by Cumulus (index.htm) and one produce by Weather Display (wxindex.php).

For the Cumulus main page (index.htm) to display proprely, you MUST install all the files required - have a look at this well written guide to find out which files have to be uploaded and to which directory/folder ... you are missing one important file, the 'weatherstyle.css'...

Your other main page (wxindex.php) is displaying the wrong date format - more likely, because either your computer or Cumulus or some of the PHP scripts are not set properly to use the same date format.

Note: The latest and official release of Cumulus 1.9.2 (5th October 2011) is available from the Sandaysoft Downloads page - this is now the only supported release of Cumulus.

One last point: When you reply to a message, there is no need to quote the whole message - please, just quote the information to which you are replying.

Hi Ray, and thanks for reply :)

Sorry about quoting the wrong way :?
In the past 15 years i used several of weather stations and software (last one a Ultimeter 2100 with WD and WDLive), and running websites without calling myself an expert in no ways, but here I was stuck my friend!

I've read the install instructions several times, but maybe at the wrong time of the day :? ....but now I'm almost there and was hoping someone (like Ron) or you could help me correct the last issues, Ray?
PS: Thanks for notifying me about the missing 'weatherstyle.css'....I'm sure I deleted it by a mistake when I cleaned up on my server for a fresh start.
I also updated to Cumulus 1.9.2 (5th October 2011) !!

Do I have to change anything here in the 'ajax-dashboard.php' compared to the 'Setting.php' (below)?
Code:
//  $timeFormat = 'D, d-M-Y g:ia T';  // Fri, 31-Mar-2006 6:35pm TZone
$timeFormat = 'd-M-Y g:ia';  // Fri, 31-Mar-2006 6:35pm TZone
$timeOnlyFormat = 'g:ia';    // h:mm[am|pm];
//$timeOnlyFormat = 'H:i';     // hh:mm
$dateOnlyFormat = 'd-M-Y';   // d-Mon-YYYY
$WDdateMDY = true;     // true=dates by WD are 'month/day/year'
//                     // false=dates by WD are 'day/month/year'

Here is a snip of the 'Settings.php' as it is now:
Code:
$SITE['WDdateMDY'] = false; // for weather software date format of month/day/year.  =false for day/month/year
$SITE['timeFormat'] = 'd-m-Y H:i';       // Euro format 31/03/2006 14:03
// $SITE['timeFormat'] = 'Y-m-d H:i';       // ISO  format 2006-03-31 14:03

// $SITE['timeOnlyFormat'] = 'g:ia';          // USA format h:mm[am|pm\
$SITE['timeOnlyFormat'] = 'H:i';          // Euro format hh:mm  (hh=00..23);
$SITE['dateOnlyFormat'] = 'd-m-Y';        // for 31-Mar-2008 or 'j/n/Y' for Euro format

NB: I still running Cumulus software to update the my http://www.torrevieja-weather.net/index.htm until I'm ready...can this cause any problem regarding the 'date/year' ?
Should I stop this and remove the files in use like '.index.htm', etc?

Regards,
Frank.

Hi Frank the index files in your root dir don't touch the templates in the php directory, about the dahes I meant yor date notation I asked you how that was set.

I saw you use the date format dd.mm.yyyy so seperated with a point you can dump and vieuw the output for almost every page by example http://www.torrevieja-weather.net/CUtags.php?sce=view I think there is something wrong in your date settings, your date noationa is added in the latest release but I don't know how you have to set this because I've not downloaded this version.

I think you have to concentrate on date format your index.php gives also errors http://www.torrevieja-weather.net/wxindex.php?sce=view

I'm sure the are people over here with the Spanish date notation where it works properly, I will try to download the new files if you can't fix it but no guarantuees 8-)

BTW the date will be with slahses in the top too if your settings are ok

I'm not sure but in your ajaxCUwx.js the
Code:
var decimalComma = false;    // =false for '.' as decimal point, =true for ',' (comma) as decimal point
is set to false maybe you have to set this to true because youre decimalseparator is a comma ?

I've set this to true (this setting isn't documented :? )
