Just discovered this topic today.
I like the beteljuice version for its colours and compactness.
I've also admired the version created by RayProudfoot for Cheadle Hume with the clear display of year for each extreme.

The alternative version I've attached works using pure HTML with the default Cumulus CSS.
In designing my website over the past month or so I decided to ensure it would still display data without the need for JavaScript to be enabled.
So my Alternative Monthly Extremes was an edit of Steve Loft's original placing the observations directly into table cells and the time/date into the 'title' attribute.
I thought at the time using mouseover was a novel approach, now I see beteljuice did it a whole month before me!

(Before you ask, I have no permanent website presence to show this in action).

As a postscript to my previous entry, I realised that mouse over tool tips are not so good on smart phones. A mock-up of an alternative (not using JavaScript, but requiring much scrolling) appears above. I should have paid attention to earlier posts in this topic about tablets!

The plastic ventilator shading for my Fine Offset temperature sensor are visible in the background, and its fly netting can be seen as a spider protector on the underneath of the rain sensor (raised from its usual near ground position for the background photo). (I believe it was Gina who also reported that anti-spider measure).
