Cumulus has not been able to upload to my website for a day now. Attached is the ftplog.txt file. Is this an issue with Cumulus or is it on the webhost side? Thanks for any help.

Looks like it can't contact the ftp server, it's timing out after 20 seconds:

20:58:19:274 TWSocket will connect to 67.215.65.133:21
20:58:40:282 031531B0 TCustomWSocket.Shutdown 1 2096

20:48:09:105 TWSocket will connect to 67.215.65.133:21
20:48:24:190 ! Aborting

If I try to connect to ftp://67.215.65.133 with Firefox, it times out:

The connection has timed out
The server at 67.215.65.133 is taking too long to respond.

Steve, Thanks, so does this mean Cumulus is OK and that the problem lies at the webhost side? t35 has had problems in the past.

Actually, IP address 67.215.65.133 is actually hit-phish.opendns.com so I think maybe Open DNS is blocking you from connecting (by resolving your site's name to their phishing address) because it thinks the site you are connecting to is a phishing site. Do you use Open DNS for your name server?

It looks like the IP address of your site is actually:
Name: woodlandweather.t35.com
Addresses: 66.45.237.212
69.10.48.106

Yes I've been using Open DNS for several years, including the time I've used Cumulus. This has not been a problem in the past, Cumulus has been connecting just fine before. Not sure I know what to do about this. Thanks though. I must be going now to my volunteer job at a local park, bit will try to work on this when I get home later today.
Thank as always Steve for your help and efforts

I think someone must have been doing naughty things with a t35 site (seems to be quite common) and Open DNS detected it and blocked it (along with, presumably, a whole load of other t35 sites). It seems to be resolving your site correctly now. Maybe if you restart your PC it will start picking up the correct address again.

Well all day and still no resolution to this. I have emailed t35 and will now wait to hear what they say, it could be a day or 2 since this a free hosting site. I guess you get what you pay for, however for the most part the hosting has worked ok. Still I would like it to work as it did before.

t35 has responded to my email and said all is fine on their end. So now what? Cumulus is updating to Weatherunderground and to PWS. All settings in Cumulus for the website are all still the same as they have been. Don't know what to do? :?: :?:

I don't think it's a problem at t35. The problem is that Open DNS is (or was) resolving your web site name to a 'blocked' IP address because they believed that a site on that server was a 'phishing' site. Did you try rebooting?

Open a command window and type 'nslookup woodlandweather.t35.com' and paste the output here.

Steve, I did reboot several times. No change when I did the command window thing it doesn't stay open long enough for me to read all of it, but something like timeout was 2 seconds and some other thing which I don't have time to read before it closes. If I quit using opendns will that solve this? I am in over my head on this problem but don't understand why it suddenly occured.
Thanks

Can I change that IP address somehow?

Those are the correct addresses now. Is the ftp log still showing the same as before?

What have you actually got as 'host name' in the Cumulus internet settings? I've been assuming you have 'woodlandweather.t35.com'.

UPDATE
I turned off OpenDNS and Cumulus uploaded just fine. I turned on OpenDNS and the problem came back. I turned off OpenDNS and Cumlus works fine. So the problem seems to be with OpenDNS.

My host name has always been:ftp.t35.com

Can OpenDNS be edited at all or should I just not use it?

I rec'd this from t35 just now:
"Date: 2010-06-14 18:44:51
Name: Alex Melen

Message:

67.215.65.133 isn't one of our ip's. Seems like you might have a virus or something on your computer? You might want to contact your PC admin.

Our ftp server ip is:

http://network-tools.com/default.asp?pr ... tp.t35.com
Ping 66.45.237.213

Best regards,

Do you think its a problem associated with OpenDNS?
