Kevin,

I've seen this with a station where the rain bucket was not secure and moving due to wind, movement of the post/pole it was mounted on, birds rocking the bucket... etc.
In another forum, Michel has asked for a solution about the large rainfall. I have asked him (in both languages) to indicate to us how the weather station is installed and what objects can be found between the transmitter and the receiver.

Of course I had something similar that I called Sprinkler Rain... but that was easy to located and after a few times correct.
I dare ask, knowing that you are in Mesa, Arizona (in the U.S.A.), would that have anything to do with those burried in the ground devices that residents of warm areas use to keep their plants alive and their grass somewhat green... :)

i have a ws-2350 weather station and don't have any particular problem.

i used "heavy weather" before and it will be a kind of joke to compare between those 2 programs. heavy weather is minimal, and to see some graphs, for example, you have to download a separate program given by them or just go to excel.

cumulus is the best program by far and it is a friendly program ,compatible to la crosse ws-23xx

Cumulus is the best soft for weather stations! works perfectly for me,except my problem with all time records edit, which is negligible.
I am interested in something else. Is it possible to see the exact temperature, which was recorded a particular day?

For example 31.12.2010 10 pm, if its possible, where can I see that? Thx :)

One good thing in Heawy weather soft that i can see exact temperature at exact time., every 10 minutes for example, just find history file and open it in txt format.

I dont know whether this can be with cumulus?

Your monthly log files contain the readings every 10 minutes (or whatever your logging interval is set to)

yes but that is not clearly as in hw software, lot of numbers with no explanation to find what is what, or for present in ms excel.

You need David's excellent Toolbox: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Toolbox

It's a simple enough matter to create a 'header' template in Excel and import the Cumulus data into that.

I installed the Toolbox, it is excellent! many things can be arranged.
I made a screen shot of my March log and I opened it with excel.

Here's how it looks. Where I'm wrong? Where I made mistake?

You need to specify the delimiter - a semicolon in your case.
