Post by Nightflyer »

Hey everyone,

when i go to vieuw this year i got an error message

Code: Select all

25-8-2011 11:35:19 : Error reading Dayfile around line 169: '1,0,0' is not a valid floating point value
in the main screen of cumulus i see at total rainfall this year 463,8
but when i choose from the option vieuw and then this year i see total rainfall 101,9

how can i fix this problem?

Open dayfile.txt in a text editor (preferably a good one like Notepad++) and go to line 169. Work out what the problem is on that line and fix it. The most likely cause of that kind of error is that you have been editing the file previously and made an error in the formatting - the two commas suggest that you used a comma for a decimal and for a separator, one of them probably needs to be a semicolon, assuming that's your list separator.

Then restart Cumulus.
